How come my DVD drive wont print labels?

I've put the label into the drive and tried to print, but it keeps saying I need to put paper in my printer. I don't want to do that - I want to print a DVD label. It says it's a writable DVD drive. Why won't it write on it????? I HATE THESE THINGS!

Update:

Well, most of you thought it was funny!

    hahah, very humorous question.

There is no such thing as a label printing DVD drive, you print the labels in your printer, and then stick them on the disc.

Lightscribe can print on the disc but it is not very good, no color and always this bronze shade.
