I am afraid to leave my home & will make any excuse to get out of having to go out, please help me?
I have recently gained a great deal of weight, I'm not exagerating, each time I leave the family home some one either puts their hands on my tummy assuming I'm pregnant or worse still they tell me to lose weight as I look hideous, So I don't want to leave my home as at home no one treats me any differently, they still love me for me so I feel safe, any advice would be great, please no nasty comments, I feel bad enough as it is....I have tried everything to lose the weight,

Do not let other people hurt your feelings. All of us are not perfect. I have a lot of heavy cousins and friends and they are enjoying life as much as I do. We go to the beach and they will wear this very cute swimwears and they don't care. They are enjoying and having fun.
Change your attitude... Being heavy doesn't mean you are ugly. You have a lot of other good features... make used of it..
And try not to be too sensitive with things. I have a very crooked and yellow teeth and sometimes I am embarrased with it, but I don't have money to have it bleached but that doesn't stop me to smile widely. I don't care!!!!

First off being a guy I'd like to know what makes people think they can come up and touch a women's stomach when she's pregnant? That always upset me when people did that to my wife and I was real bad when they did it to my daughter.
That said, I think we are in the same boat. I gained almost sixty pounds last fall and winter. This summer I didn't even want to mow my yard. A month ago my doctor told me I was diabetic and I needed to lose weight. That got me going. Don't wait till you have to lose weight, just a pound a week will do fine. Walking a couple miles a day is how I do it. I get up early and that way no one is going to see me as I jiggle down the road,

You have to make a choice. You can live out your life in the isolation of your family home. You can accept yourself the way your are and face the world and its cruelty. You can accept yourself the way you are but try and improve your health with diet and exercise then face the world but it will still be cruel at times.
Don't go on any fad diets. Learn about The Glycemic Index (GI). With the understanding of GI, you can eat normally and be of normal weight. One book to read is The New Glucose Revolution by Dr. Jennie Brand- Mill and Dr. Thomas Wolever. Focus on getting healthy, your weight will stabilize and you will feel good about yourself.

Well, try do exercises at home. Buy a treadmill or something. Keep losing weight and dieting and while you are doing that try go outside for a bit every day. Soon you will gain your confidence back. And anyway, you should take control of your life, not strangers you will never see again.

i don't think u've tried evrything... try this one... instead of eating 3x a meal a day.. limit it to 2x a meal a day and later.. 1x a meal... avoid fats and high carbo foods... drink tea or water... avoid sodas... fruit juices is also good and so are fruits... walk around the block daily... in no time... will then 2 loose weight.. and regain ur body figure... good luck
