  • Female FRIENDSHIP ONLY?

I'm a 38 year old, happily married (most of the time) mother of 2 beautiful girls, hoping to meet other women with or without children for friendship only, I'm in the Gold Coast region of Australia & really have no other idea of how to meet other women for friendship, due to illness I find it difficult to be out and about meeting new and interesting people, more than once I've tried other sites that once you enter them seem geared towards relationships etc, I'd just like to meet other women to get to know, to share life's laughs & trials & to enjoy each others company, I'd love to hear from other women in my area, but also from around the world, to broaden each others horizons, I look forward to hearing from interested new friends to be as soon as possible, no offence, BUT, women only please, I have plenty of male based conversations with my hubby, I look forward to hearing from as many of you wonderful & intelligent women as soon as possible, take care of yourselves, Yvette

  • What is the book Catcher in the Rye...? about?

Here in Australia it is not compulsory reading in High Schools, yet I get the impression it is "vital" reading in the American school system, is it a good book, something suitable for a 15 year old, or interesting enough to make it enjoyable reading for an adult

  • Shows like queer eye 4 the straight guy, do they keep the improvements for free or / they have to pay for them

I was watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy today on pay TV, and I'm now wondering about the actual costs involved..... do the contestants / victims on the show get to keep all the furniture and clothes used in their make over for free or do they either pay for the costs involved or is everything returned to the stores.....minus the clothing that has been worn, as it must cost a fortune to redecorate the homes and wardrobes of the contestants / victims that appear on the show, anyway, just wondering, I look forward to hearing some answers, Thanks

I've even had my husband try to explaine to our Dr that I don't eat, due to my pain issues I am some what restricted with excerise, but I do walk each day for 45 minutes - which now gives me chest pain, On top of all this I am going through a very early change of life, my blood pressure rises with pain, I'm only 35 years old, if I don't lose a lot of weight, I'm at risk of 1 in 4 chances of having a stroke or heart attack.
