Yvette? You are NOT dieing. YOU are in the possession of a FAULTY doctor.
YOU need a doctor that will investigate ALL OF YOUR symptoms that STARTED these problems. YOUR body may be allergic to something OR your intestines MAY BE PARTIALLY BLOCKED, which would make it harder to eliminate waste efficiently. THIS WOULD swell your liver. A small NONcancerous cyst on your glands OR LIVER could ALSO make your body start shutting down. A NON properly functioning liver would mean TOXINS are being KEPT in your body, as would intestinal blockage.
Don't YOU DARE listen to that "doctor"..... also STRAIGHTEN UP AND DO NOT be a VICTIM of anything. We all get dealt lousy things in life, but face it... YOU are the GROWN up and it is YOUR job to make life GOOD for your HUSBAND and CHILDREN. YOU are the WOMAN of the house. Never behave like a victim , cuz' THEN the BAD guy WINS. If all of this makes sense to you or if YOU need to share your thought or problems with someone,,, I'm your sounding board. debrazgalaxy@yahoo.com

You never know if the Doctor is going to be right. There are such high percentages of them telling you the wrong answer. I say, invest your money on trying to eat health. Make sure you drink lots and lots of water- that may cleanse your body and your liver. Make sure your water is as filtered as possible. Do those things like yoga, to keep your body going and having your heart stay healthy. Drink tea, do reflexology(is a sort of non circulatory foot massage), Pray, find a nutrishionist and start eating right. The only thing is i don't really know what you have so I guess i believe if you treat your body right and cleanse each of your systems then it should start kicking back up. I've seen it before but they were suppose to die years ago from smoking and had cancer and are still living. I'm not sure what you have.
You should try to tell them early on, you don't want something like them being afraid interfere with them trying to get as much time with you. They'll regret not paying more attention to you if they don't know. Maybe they might want to get involved with you trying to get this health thing on.

When given news such as this, you should understand that life is measured by what others think, and it is measured by the value that you give it. So put on an outfit that you love and paint the town red. It doesnt matter what everyone thinks, and it doesnt even matter what i think, but you need to enjoy your life to the fullest. Spend that time with your children and family. And you should tell them immediately. It will be difficult at first, but the sooner you tell them the sooner they will understand. Yes, they will grow up faster than the average 7 and 14 yr old, but if you hold this off they will be confused and lost, IF you pass. You and your family are in my prayers, may God Bless and live life.

Don't give a moments worry about what people think of your appearance. If your time with your family is growing shorter than I suggest you make the best of it. Do something that you all enjoy as a family. If you're limited in what you can do, then do as much as possible. Make amends with anyone from your past where possible. Pay attention to each moment of each day. Take everything in. The sunrises, sunsets. Most importantly, spend quality time with your family as this remaining time will probably be most remembered.
Good luck.

Well first... i wouldnt care what people think... u should be happy that u accomplish alot of things in ur life, I would look for seconds opinions.. and do some research in what u can do to live longer and healthier, there are many cases out there where ppl have been said they gonna die in a couple of months and ended up living a long happy life! Love ur family love ur self and be positive !!

Yvette, I am so sorry you have to go through this horrible ordeal. Why is your liver distended? What is wrong? Don't just give up and walk away from the situation! Go to a different doctor, try different treatments. You never know what you will find out. I don't know what to tell your kids. I hope and pray you find the right words at the right time. God Bless you and yours.

See if there's a holistic doctor in your area, they can do fantastic things with people who regular doctors have given up on. Be prepared to pay though, because most insurance companies don't cover the charges for these kinds of treatments. Hope you get better.

I am so sorry to hear about your misfortune. Please do yourself a favor and seek professional advice. The answers submitted by people on Yahoo are only opinions and in some cases, lousy ones at that.
If you believe in God pray hard for your sickness and family. If you don't, now is probably a good time to start seeking Him.

Facing your mortality is a shock. People react in different ways. Maybe research how others faced the situation, and take inspiration from them. Most people are in shock after news like this. We all face our mortality, I hope I can face mine with dignity, as I am sure you will.
