Because the earth's water makes up 3/4 of the planet, the health of the ocean has a great impact on our planet. The planet Earth depends on the water for a great many things to sustain life. Because we have poluted the waters, we have polluted our entire environment including causing great damage to the air that we breathe. We are seeing a lot of the problems now, with global warming.

Most of the oxygen that you are breathing right now, came from the ocean. so if we kill all life in the ocean, then the oceans will have revenge and all large animal life on land will die. Fortunatly for the planet that includes us. So once we are all dead, the oceans will have time to recover and life will go on without us. Long live the cockroach!!
