What is the meaning of the term "sheeple"?

If I don't know the meaning, does it make me a "sheeple"?

"Sheeple" is slang term that denotes the gullible people of the world who have been deceived for ages by government and media propaganda---they believe whatever they are told by so-called "authority" figures, because they put blind trust in advertising, doctors, attorneys, judges, the police, etc. They have been told LIES for so long that they accept them as truth and are either unable or unwilling to think for themselves. They also DO NOT KNOW that they don't know the truth about what is REALLY going on in the world. But the coming BIG CHANGES will change that--they will be forced to confront their false beliefs when the LIES are exposed for all to see, complete with the proof to back it.

    Sheeple Meaning

  • 1 decade ago

No, not unless you do the things the web site you gave makes people sheeple. I assume you should be able to figure that out for yourself. Are you an individual, or do you follow the crowd or the leaders all the time? If you are a follower all the time, you ARE a sheeple.

Sheeple is a word commonly heard about the general public's willingness to accept what the government tells them about policies like REAL ID and the National Animal ID System. Sheeple don't question what they are told to do.

Sheeple, often used to describe individuals that blindly follow the information given by others, without researching to find out if it is fact or not. I.E. someone that will join a cult and never question the beliefs, someone who takes what the media states as fact, or something to that effect. In otherwords they are like sheep and will go where ever they are lead without much personal thought about it.

my understanding of the word is basically people who just follow along, blend in with the crowd so to say, in other words someone who doesn't have an opinion of their own. hope this helps
