A 'machine pistol' is an automatic weapon that fires pistol caliber ammunition(.45ACP, 9mm Luger,etc.)
The machine pistols with the fastest ROF (Rate of Fire) are the Ingram design manufactured by MAC (Military Armaments Corp.) of Smyrna, GA.
ALL Ingram design weapons are 'machine pistols'.
MAC-10 .45ACP
MAC-11 9mm Luger
MAC-12 .380ACP
These weapons fired at a rate between 1200-1500 rpm.
