Whats the best way to fix scratches on a hardwood floor?

The old owners of my house left a number of medium grade scratches on my hardwood floors (dark). Can these be touched up?

You can get different colored wax pencils for this repair,,,rub the pencile into the scrath then buff with soft rag, if the scrathes are deep use an iron at low heat with damp rag the steam will raze the wood grain then use the wax. Good luck

Well you can use what I have used and am still using. There are markers that you use to touch up scratches on wood furniture they come in a variety of colors or you can use wood putty like they use to fill nail holes in the floor. i don't know if there is anything else, there might be, but this is what I use and it's worked great so far. Hope this answer was somewhat helpful! By the way you can get the markers and or putty at your local Home Depot, Lowe's or any other hardware store.
