No evidence of any writings by Socrates exist today. We know of his philosophy through his pupils, including Plato. However, it is difficult to tell whether Plato is writing his own philosophy or that of Socrates. The Socrates in Plato's Dialogues may be more of a character that Plato uses to write his own philosophy.

    No.

That is why it was almost impossible to convict Socrates , but he pretty much testified against himself at his own trial. Much of what is attributed to Socrates may have in fact been Plato putting words in a dead man's mouth to protect himself from meeting the same fate as Socrates.

Nope. However, Xenophon did write another account of Socrates' life.
