i got my first credit card from capitol 1...spent about 300...then paid it off using online payment thing?
then a few days later it said payment returned...they took the money out of my bank and havent returned it but they say i havent paid the bill and this was about a month ago...and i still dont have my money back...any1 know anything about this?

Hopefully you wrote down the confirmation / tracking number for your payment..... if so, call and speak with them. I'm not sure why it was returned.... perhaps at the moment the payment occurred, you didn't have sufficient funds in your checking account. Who knows?.... check with your bank....Hopefully you made your payment from the ACTUAL credit card site and didn't make the payment by responding to an email you received......... if the latter, you may have been taken! Please contact your bank immediately!

call the company and talk to a supervisor, tell them what happened. They may have a way to track it. I have never had a problem with them, and it's been 2 years since I started with them.
