Twin behavioral issue?
I wear a nursing bra most of the days, or at least a tank top under
my shirt. Late evenings I take it off, and I often find the girls IN
it. Patience will wrap it around her face and trunk, to peek out
through the armholes, and Laina will crawl into a corner with it and
bite it repeatedly. It just depends on who finds it first.
Both girls are a year old, plus two weeks, and they've been doing
this for about the past month, ever since Patience started walking.
It's sweet, but a little disturbing. Is it a sign of a bad
attachment, or simply a twin amusement? Laina's getting molars now
and Patience may also be, but Alaina is biting *everything* including
the breast lately.
They're squabbling a lot and biting each other often too.
Her name's Patience because we knew we'd need patience to survive twins. Nobody said I was using their real names, either.

This sounds like normal baby silliness. My boys do similar stuff. They have always been boob men as my husband calls them even though they never took to breast feeding. I did pump religiously until the milk dried up (over 6 mos) for all the critics. They are obsessed with all our clothes and try to open drawers to pull them out and make a disaster of the laundry basket.
I read in a magazine that leaving an item of clothing like a tshirt you wore to bed the night before helps with separation anxiety so we just let them take their "finds" usually tshirts but a bra has been taken before to bed. They seem to sleep better. And yes we draw the line at anything gross like dirty underwear:)
My boys are 14 mos on Fri and constantly squabbling and wrestling. We have an OT (who also had twins) that visits them twice a month since they were born extremely premature. She said to treat it like hockey. If someone appears to be getting the upper hand or if there is a chance one could get hurt intervene, if not let them sort it out. When I started doing that this month I have noticed the squabbling has gone done to just whining most of the time.

Yeah, that is normal for kiddies at least it was for my twin boys. They know your bra as a sign of safety and security.
They may also be coming into teething.
My boys never bit until their back molars came through. When they started biting i would always push them away or scold them, but them they started bruising or drawing blood, really quick!
Nasty, but they both scored a teaspoon of curry. They turn two next week and haven't bit anyone since that curry!
PS I did give them water after, and as cruel as it sounds it worked!

My twin sisters use to do that until they were two and a half. They found comfort in it. Plus they explore their world by using their mouth. My mom put vinegar on the stuff she didn't want them to bite.
I would say try getting them to chew on something else. Show Alaina that biting hurts every time she does it. Tell her, "Ouch! That hurts me!"

This is typical 1 yr old twin behavior, no reason to be worried. Give them blankies or teddy bears that they can be attached to.

I think that they are just playing with it cause they are curious about your stuff.Don't worry...they will soon start taking everything that you wear and try them on especially your make up and shoes.

Why would you name your kid Patience? She is going to get made fun of hardcore later in life for having a stupid name.
