Placenta posteria?

    most placentas are posterior or fundal - this is normal

    I had this and had a massive PPH, although it was due to the actual size of the placenta that I lost so much blood as that too, was massive.

    They might take a bit longer to get it out afterwards, but once you've had your baby, you won;t care!

    Also, they told me that my baby would be massive, but they were looking at the placenta instead. She was 7lbs 8oz.

    No it's only if you have a low lying placenta that you get problems.
