Where can I go to learn how to fly a glider aircraft? I live in New Rochelle N.Y.?

Hi Julius! As a former New Rochelle resident I'd suggest you contact American Flyer's through WestAir at Westchester County Airport at 914-428-3800 or 877-897-0808. They teach both fixed & rotary wing piloting. I'm not certain if Westchester has any glider schools but maybe they can help you locate a good one!

elmira ,n.y. upstate by finger lakes has an excellent glider field. home of schweizer aircraft, they specialized in gliders . probably out of your area, but its the best.

Gliders aren't the best. ultralights do fine and will get you where you need to go.
