Are you from a Cross-cultural married's child?How is your life being a bi-cultural children?

Depending on where you live it can be tough... My mother is black and my father is East Indian...Whenever around blacks I was accepted but some east indians I was mistreated or they weren't really sure what to make of me... Now my child is also mixed hertiage with her father being Puerto Rican and me being Black and East Indian... I have yet to experience anything for her...but we as her parents do worry sometimes...but like I said it all depends on where we go

No I'm not, and while I do not intend to marry interculturally, I have noticed that cross-cultured couples can have a more difficult time establishing common ground to build their marriage on

Generally their children are above average in terms of health, and they can be very bright if they grow up in a very supporting family environment

I am from a cross cultural family, so is my son. My dad is Quapaw(that's what tribe we are) my mom is white. I grew up in an all Indian/white area. Its no big deal. We have powwows on Friday and rodeos on Saturday. Its life. My sons life donor is black. My son is raised Indian and white b/c his father has no interest and no idea what culture means. People assume we spend our whole lives trying to figure out who we are blah blah blah when really it just means we know who we are without basing it on race.
