ebay????????
i won something off ebay 3 days ago.
about 5 minutes after the auction ended the guy that was on the other end of my deal called me and wanted to know when i was going to pay for my item. i explained to him that i was at work, and that i would do it when i got home. i literally walked in the door that night, and he was calling me again, wanting to know when i was going to pay for it. at this point i am fusterated, and started to consider this harrassment... because i have 7 days after the auction has ended to pay for this, and we havnt gotten to that point yet,...... i was very fusterated, at this point i dont even want the item, because the guy on the other end is a jerk.. so i have still not paid for it, and it has been three days..... can ebay legally give out your telephone number? i am only asking because i have never had anyone call me about paying for my things, as i have always paid them in decent period of time. thanks

I have never heard about this! Are your numbers on your page? 7 days is what they require, but if you cancel, you will get bad feedback. But, the good news is if he gives you bad feedback, you can give him bad right back!

They will give out your contact information, only if you're in a transaction with that other member. However, they are suppossed to give you time to pay for the item, much longer than the 5 minutes he gave you.
If you're concerned about being harrassed, contact someone at ebay. You may be able to get out of the transaction.

Yes, a seller/buyer can get your contact information, that is, the information you gave to eBay when you registered with them. I've had to use this when a buyer didn't pay. A person can only get this info after you have bought something from them, or if you have sold something to the.

Good luck!

I dont recall anywhere in ebay where there is an option to show a persons phone number but i could be wrong. I've never had anyone call me with me giving them my phone number and I've bought and sold over 500 items.
