Yahoo answers addiction?

I usto be addicted, I was on level 6, and I would answer like a million questions at a time. Now that I got booted off, and I'm down to level 1, I give up and don't answer as much.

I think if you find a hobby to substitute for Y!A, it would help replace your addiction to Yahoo.

Do your homework AWAY from the computer. That way, you won't be able to turn it on when you have the urge.

OR you can just stay addicted. It's a nice feeling....

*go outside

*take a bath

*call a friend

*set a time limit (i.e, 1 hr per day)

*or let it be off limits during the school week, 2 hrs on Saturday and do it all day Sunday or something...just don't let it take over your life!

*cook. it's easy to eat sandwiches and stuff while answering qs, lol.

*go on different websites, check and send emails

*hang out with family - play a boardgame or something

*take a walk or ride your bike

*draw

*note how much time you have racked up on here and how much time that adds up to! WOW! that is what has helped me keep from getting addicted

Don't even peak at Yahoo until all the homework's done- takes a load off your mind, allows you to enjoy it more knowing your responsibility is fulfilled. Yahoo will not pay your bills one day- your education will.

you just need something more addicting than this, like world of warcraft lol, its addicting to a point that ppl die playing 3 days straight nonstop of this game

after seeintha same questions over and over again, ur not that addicted....plus i got schol work to do know and i need to go study...but anyway i spend most of my internet time on myspace or listening to music and turnin i up all tha way :)

I was like that at first but then all the questions end up being the same and it becomes easier to leave it alone

pinch yourself every time you come on here

ground yourself from something you love whenever you come on here

only allow yerself to come on here when all yer homework is done and you've gotten some sort of exersize for the day

Ha ha, me too! Yahoo!Answers and Facebook, they are my weaknesses! There isnt really a way to stop it...you just have to resist the urge.
