how can i get better at switch hitting?

look, here is the deal, im trying to make a good impression on scouts so i can get drafted. Im hitting .533 from hte right side, but i dont hit for enoguh power. Im naturally a left handed hitter, so what can i do to get better hittign from the left side? I really think if i can develop good contact hittign from the left side, i can get drafted. How long will it take toget good at left handed hitting and what should i do to get better?

Update:

i actually own my own pitching machine, the Personal Pitcher PRO. it pitches tiny wiffle balls and ive found ive hit for more power since i got it.

Switch hitting is just your brain looking into the mirror. Same stance, same balance, same weight shift, same hip drive, same follow through - only difference is you're doing it with the opposite hands and legs.

It will take a lot of practice and discipline to tell your brain to think in reverse, but the more repetitions, the quicker it will get used to the idea.

.533 from the right side!!! Forget about switch hitting! Work on hitting to "all fields" specially to right field, all of the great hitters knew how to hit to the opposite field. Hitting wise THAT will get you drafted along w/the other 4 tools: Hit w/Power, Speed, Glove & Strong accurate arm. Mets Beltran & Wright, Yanks Jeter, Col Matt Holiday... Great examples of players w/5 tools!

I was a switch hitter in university. Not every switch hitter is great from both sides of the plate. I use to hit for average from the left side, but hit for power from the right side.

You should get yourself a pitching coach.

maybe get a batting coach. a good thing to do is get a tee or do some soft toss. the most important thing is repetition the more you practice the better you get.
