Why is psychology so damn amazing/interesting?

Because it explains so many things you always questioned: people's behavior, social changes and your own reactions to it all. Psychology is a gift for a curious mind.

I personally find psychology so interesting because it is many times so OBVIOUS, and I find it fascinating to watch people who think that they're fooling everyone else. However, I guess that if everyone were genuine then we wouldn't need the field of psychology, would we? But it sure would make this world a much more colorful place!

I used to be like that- the "A"s came without hardly any effort. By the time I'd earned my degree in it though, I realized it's just like any other subject- totally subjective. Someone could get 8+ different diagnoses if they shopped around a bit. I'm not saying the subject is worthless or anything- just take everything they teach you with a dose of salt and play devil's advocate alot. In other word's, be OBJECTIVE.

It's because there are so many variants. As soon as you get something nailed down, there's another angle or more depth to it.

It's amazing stuff.

I feel the same way! It's very fascinating to me. I love seeing what goes on within the brain and how different things in the brain can effect our personalities. =)
