Nope. My purse is my old college ID holder. In it I have some cash, my license, my credit card and bank card (the credit card is maxed out and my bank card has less than $15 on it because we needed it to pay bills, like my health insurance and our baby's health insurance; Real necessities, not things like mindless, frugal, wasteful trips to the mall, to where I don't even go), and my health insurance card. have a wallet style purse that I use when I have no pockets, though. Also, my cell phone and keys fit nicely in my hip pocket, so it works out.
When the baby is born, though, I will be carrying the diaper bag and unfortunately, I will probably be using it as a dumping ground for my stuff, like my cell and my wallet (I will upgrade to a wallet that has compartments for cash, change and cards) and maybe even a book and/or a magazine for me.
Yesterday, while waiting at the doctor's office I was looking through the current issue of "Ladies Home Journal" and they had a thing on fall purses. Some of them looked to be the size of what I would use for an overnight or weekend bag (well, prior to Baby; I'm sure after she's born I'll be taking a full suitcase for just a weekend trip to the grandparents'). Yikes.
I've also seen and/or read stories regarding women having more back problems because of the large, full purses. I've also seen and read stories regarding women and foot and back problems regarding high heels. I guess between the two trends (high skinny heels and the oversized purses), now might be a good time to be a chiropractor or a podiatrist.

I usually don't carry a purse even though I know i need to. I'm just extremely forgetful so I would so leave it every where. lol But i got makeup, my permit, carmax, oragel, my id and a few other cards in my purse and thats about it. But big purses are great to have you never know what your gonna have to put in it.

I think it is bad news that the current trend (UK) is for big bags, Don't know if you are the same in the states? It just gives me an excuse to carry around absolutely everything and never throw anything away. I am sure that I would find some long lost treasures if I ever got round to sorting through some of my bags.

Yes I do that to I bought a nice new larger purse but gradually more went into it so now it's just filling up, receipts, cards, change (1p and 2p) cash

Hello! I'm quite the opposite - I'm 18 and my mum calls me a "boy" because all I ever carry is a mobile phone and some money in my pocket! lol also if i took a bag of stuff anywhere I would only lose it anyway!

I hate purses. I try to limit myself to the stuff I can comfortably shove into my pockets or comfortably carry in my hand.
