Yes I think it was, although his actions are very bad, I think the Media except for FOX did a good job. Fox was OK, but they are not very balanced despite their claim to be. There is heavy Pro-Republican bias on FOX.

I think in this case CNN did te best job, though usually MSNBC is the more balanced network of the three cable news nets.

CNN interviwed Clinton, who talked of his human error and said he did not delight in seeing Craig and his family have to go through this because he knows what seroius personal error can do to a family. I thought that was very Christian of him

James Carville (on CNN) a famous democrat analyst, even went so far as to say he didn't think he should have resigned since it was a misdemeanor and mail in fine and he did not plead guilty to sexual misconduct, but only disturbing the peace.

I think he neede to resign for hypocrisy, not for human error. Craig was very hard on Clinton and evne called him names over the Lewinsky affair in 98.

Yes the Media, save FOX has been fair and even Fox was ok, especially since they are so baised normally.

He was crucified, convicted, and destroyed by a Media that clearly had no regard for the truth. The media quoted every bad comment about him with little regard to facts or truth. If anybody wanted to degrade him, they would get more time than reporting any known facts.

Jefferson has NOT been found nor has he Pleaded guilty

if craig hadn't been guilty, why did he plead guilty? and if the press found out, why should they keep quiet? craig got busted, pled guilty, and the press found out long afterwards. was craig trying to cover it up by pleading guilty, hoping the press wouldn't find out what he did? craig was found out, and the press exposed it, so who is to blame for it? it was craig. all the press did is expose what craig didn't want the public to know. he committed a crime and the press reported it. craig has no one to blame but himself.

William Jefferson (D - Louisiana) had bribe money in his freezer and he is still in office. Larry Craig (R - Idaho) allegedly played footsie with someone and he had to resign.

This just tells me that Republicans have SOME morals while Democrats have none. But I already knew this.

Yes, the Democrats are gearing up for the next election and can only win votes by engaging in smear tactics. If it had been anybody else we would have heard screams of 'entrapment' and 'innocent until proven guilty'. He did not say anything or expose anything - we only have the cops word.
