Is this the "Big updates" Y! answers has been working on, the report it button?

I asked a question, here it is:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoWjG...

That one answerer, michelle, has a good point. Is this report it sign really the "big updates" Y! answers has been SOOO concerned about all this time?

I mean, trolls are running wild, people getting suspended, questions and answers getting deleted, and ALL the Y! answers staff can think about, is the freak'in size of the stupid report button!?

"Oh my God, staff, it's the end of the world as we know it! We NEED to make that report sign a bit bigger and fatter than the answer given by the answerer! Let's do it!"

Haha. I love you. That's so funny. But very true. I guess because I know exactly what you're saying. I hate the stupid rules, I mean we can basically be reported for just being on

Y!A. And the button is ridiculous. Like we all didn't already know what it was for. I hope this doesn't mean MORE people are gonna be reported.

Talk is that there might be more changes coming yet. I don't know if it's true, but I sure hope that button wasn't it. They did put a limit of 300 characters on your comment you can leave at the bottom of best answer. That was really needed too. Yeah... right!

Well, that's about all I know.

Oops! I almost bumped the report button! LOL

Hi, AJ, that's very funny..the answer is No.The "report" CRITERIA! has changed, along with the Community Guidelines and I-don'tknow-what-all yet. Do you have a 360? If so, go and read theY!A Team blog; I'm sure thre's something on it. (I really can't stand that thing, so I can't say for sure...) I know you don't have to have a 360 to read the blog, but you do; to comment in it! I can't see you not! having a comment...(smile) So. Your Q didn't come up on my profile page. Could be that's part of the "gliches" we've been experiencing... I posted a Q, where is your answer?? Go check it out, kiddo. See if it's worth our trouble... }:>

I read the blog on the main page. Now we have a reporting reputation. The more you report questions that violate guidelines the better reputation you have. If you just report people for the hell of it then you have a bad reputation and risk suspension. This will either work and stamp out the reporter attacks or blow up in our faces. I say everybody better duck and cover.

Hmm the main page says that we will now have a *reporting reputation* built. So if someone reports you wrongly...your question gets re-instated and their *rep* goes down. Yahoo will apparently take less notice of people with a low rep when they report.

Check out the main page b log if you can stay awake long enough...lol

If this is the thing they were working on, they should have saved their time. It got used and abused too much when it was small. What a joke!
