1996 buick park ave p0102 code?
auto is stalling out and coming back, if your going 60 it might suddenly drop rpm like u turn the key off then catch back up again. the p0102 code comes on when this happens and the traction off light comes on. Its getting worse and will not idle good now. The p102 code is low voltage to maf. I have 5 volts on the yellow wire and 12 volts on the pink wire.
when I unplug the maf sensor at idle it dosn't effect the car at all. I have changed the maf sensor twice, also the plugs and plug wires, the tps sensor, coil pack ,o2 sensor. This seemed to make problem worse.
checked fuel pressure 50 lbs correct. Have cleaned the engine with carb cleaner trying to find a vacumm leak none. What would cause a low voltage to the maf sensor where does the yellow wire go that plugs to maf sensor? this is wife car and there ain't no loving till its fixed. thanks for any help larry

Park Avenues fuel pressure regulator diaphragms give out and cause similar problems.Check the vacuum hose at that connection for correct fit.The yellow wire to the MAF could be broken in the insulation.Try wiggling the wire with the engine on and see if you get a RPM change.Could also be a bad connector problem at the MAF.Check the pins.Check computer grounds for tightness.Have a blessed day.

Sounds like the wires to the maf. Maybee you bought it used & someone played with the wires a bit. But I'd say 12 volt supplies the current for the sensor to work & the 5 volt is usually the "data" terminal. So perhaps when you replaces these sensors maybee the lil metal prongs on the connector is acting up. The 5 volt yellow wire is how the sensor "talks" to the pcm (Computer). The 12 volt somehow makes its way to the battery.
