Have you ever worked at WalMart? What was it like?

Let's be an a Zone Defense, Walmart Employees! Our stocks are at such and such a level, the rest is up to you! (Heard over the Wally World PA System) I don't think I would like to work there. They have a bad reputation for paying women less than men for the same job and out-sourcing instead of buying American.

I worked at walmart for 2 weeks, the pay sucked and the people there are always friendly for some odd reason

I worked at walmart when I got out of school. The longest six months of my life.

I worked in the photo lab in a new super center, the first two years were great but then they started to show their true colors and about that same time the founder Sam Walton died, I blew that popsicle stand when they told me not to let my customers take out the pics that they didn't want.

Bless whomever worked at Walmart. That poor poor person!

I do, I'm a manager in the pet supply section and Its pretty decent alot of young and old people never any middle aged people alot the older people are nice and yeah I like working there

I used to work there. and many customers are dikks. and the lines never end. and you cant ever leave on time. and they dont break you properly. and its freezing but we couldnt wear jackets.

the slackers in the clothing /shoe dept. they got it good.

on the other hand the one in my area pays really well. then they started giving me grief about my piercings (that i had since i was hired and had been working there for 4 mos. ) so i bounced!

yes!! in the garden center and it was nice, but on the registers and the toy dept. i hated it. long hrs, alot of dumb questions from customers, ok i feel the need to give an example... one lady asked me in the middle of the barbie aisle where she could find malibu barbie at,well i thought she meant she wanted me to personally find it for her so i did,and said here miss this is it, she said oh ok good i dont know why they dont put barbies in the barbie aisle. i just looked at her and said have a good day, and looked all around at this pink nightmare of an aisle that said barbie everywhere and rolled my eyes.uh sigh

i never step foot in walmart, been in there maybe 2 times in my life, i only shop at target :)

No I havent but in the news lately I've seen so much about how badly they treat their workers.

I would only work there if I was truly desperate.
