HAMSTER WHEEL!!!!!! Help?

Put the hamster in the wheel and give it a little spin. Then just wait. I have never had a hamster not eventually use the wheel. Give it a day or two and I am sure it will figure it out and love it. Good luck.

by the way, dont buy the wheels that hav little square holes in it

i had a gerbil and it took a while for it to go on the wheel

Some hamsters are just lazy bums. Don't force him in it though, because then he will learn not to like it. Maybe try some food in it or something to lure him.

he probably is afraid of it coz it moves.

as one has suggested block the wheels for now and let him get used to it without the motion.

he will come around in his time okay!

Don't worry he will get in the wheel eventually.

Since you just got it today, it is something new to him. He does not have the intelligence to know it is for his pleasure. Just leave it in the cage and when he figures out that it isn't going to hurt him, he will investigate it and learn what it's for.

dude! chill man he is just getting use to it and if he never gets on it no big deal he is just lazy i have had like 7 hamsters trust me

Just give him time. I bought my new hamster a wheela dn all he ever does is it in it. He doesn't like to run.

easy pick up ur hamster and put him in it. lol

set him on the wheel. block both sides. ta-da!
