Have You Used the Dog Food Timberwolf Organics????? Would You Recommend It?

I have not trusted any dog foods since the recall several months ago, but for many reasons I want to ease my dogs off food that I've been making for them (of which I had my vet's approval and I've been giving them a daily vitamin). Because of the recall, I've had major trust issues with big name commerical pet food companies so I heard about Timberwolf. I'm thinking of trying it, but I wanted to know what your experiences with it are.

How did your dog react? Would you recommend it?

I know it's more expensive than other brands but I don't mind...I just want to make sure I can trust what I feed my dogs (a three year old border collie and a one year old chihuahua/wiener dog).

Thanks!

I have never used Timberwolf, but they are no longer affiliated with Diamond. I think that is GOOD. My concern is, they do not identify where their food IS made now. I don't understand why dog food companies will not release this info and just expect us to trust them!

They do have a very informative site, but here is a site centered around much of the health concerns of dogs including foods:

    http://www.itchmo.com/

It would be an additional place to discuss your food where people are very concerned about their dogs food and some are sure to have tried or are currently feeding their dogs "Timberwolf".

    Hope this helps.

Timberwolf Organics is a very high quality food. I would recommend them. Other good food choices are Canidae, Innova, Merrick, Wellness, Evo....

... Good luck!!! Any of the choices above will be a great one for you and your pooch!

i think canidae is better because its reconized as an essentrial nutrient by the AAFCO and exeeds their requirements.timberwolf is not reconized as an essentrial nutrient
