I dont know.
There is a character map that you can use... somewhere in your start menu.
For internet use, like here on Y!A... I just type π.
That is the Ampersand (or "and" sign) (&)... followed by the word "pi"... followed by a semicolon (;). It renders π.
You can also copy the symbol from Microsoft Word.

on start, left click all program, left click on accessories, left click on system tools, then left click on character map.
then look for the symbol usually found in Greek alphabet, then choose as desired, click select then click copy. hope to give you the right instruction on how to type your asked symbol as well some symbol that you might encounter in the future.

On my computer, I would type the symbol π using the character map utility that comes with the operating system, available Windows XP's default configuration by going to the Start menu and selecting All Programs -> Accessories - >System Tools -> Character Map using the Unicode character set. Other flavors of Windows or the Mac have similar utilities.

Using a Mac, I just paste it in from MSWord : π .
(I copied Greek letters from a Symbol font table into a file I keep open on my desktop.)
Thus things like θ ρ σ τ are readily available.
