Another Video Card Problem . . . .?
- Recently I just bought a video card which is a Inno3d GeForce FX 5500 and already installed it already to the computer. After how many days of installing the latest driver for Nvidia, when I tried to play games . . I experience a problem wherein the game will just show the introduction but when it came my turn to play already the game . . . the screen goes blank and nothing happen and sometimes it will just restart the pc. I've already play those games before I installed the video card. The specification of the pc are:
OS: Windows XP SP2
RAM Memory: 1.25 Gigabytes
Motherboard: ECS P4M800-M7 v3.1

FX-5500 could be too much for your power supply. Consider upgrading to a higher rated power supply.

The graphics card is probably not compatible with the mainboard (not strong enough mainboard).
Other causes might be overheating due to the above or lack of proper power supply.
Try re-installing the card from scratch and reinstall the game. Make sure you re-install the original card driver first before updating it on the internet and try the game without the latest driver
