Was Sarah Silverman pulled off the VMAs after her comments about Britney Spears Children?

Oh God, that lady is so disgusting. How sick in the mind can you be to attack 1 yeard old babies? I am sure that she did get pulled off because it was very odd that she didn't come back after being introduced as the host. That whole show was disastrous and I turned it off after 20 minutes.

As far as that lackluster Britney performance goes... she had another show planned but was not allowed to do it because of insurance purposes. Last night's dance was a last-minute rehearsal.

I heard that MTV VMAs didn't want a host this year, because they wanted the awards to be only about the music. It had nothing to do with Sarah Silverman.

It wasn't the worst I've ever seen, but it was pretty bad.

Most of the people I know didn't even watch most of the show. Everyone is just waiting for the highlights to pop up on youtube.

Ok say what you want about Britney Spears we all agree that she is a mess. However the girl had just left the stage and then gets totally trashed in front of the people she just performed in front of! To call her kids mistakes was horrible and in my opinion the the fight should have been between Britney and Sarah not Kid Rock and Tommy Lee! She bombed, but trash her the next day like everyone else not the second she leaves the stage!

No, she wasn't hosting. There was no host. MTV was trying to revamp the VMAs this year - taking it to Vegas, all the performances, etc. They wanted it to appeal more to a younger audience since their ratings for the VMAs have been falling drastically.

I agree that they awards were horrible. They need a host to pull it all together. It was just sloppy and messy (which also describes Britney's performance.)

Great question! And the show was really, really horrible. I don't know why they have VMA's when MTV never shows videos. I think that the artists should just ban the show unless they start using MTV for videos. Instead they show horrible shows like My Super Sweet 16 and others that just show a bunch of rich spoiled brats.

Actually, it was Timbaland that was supposed to host the show this year, however, I didn't see him at all. And I didn't hear about her getting pulled out of the show, but I wouldn't doubt it; Her jokes were horriblely lame.

Very much agreed! i didnt even watch the whole thing. the vegas setting with all the action happening in different rooms at the same time and no complete elaborate shows. its too bad, i usually look forward to the vmas

Yes - I agree 100 % - They were so bad, I couldnt even watch the whole show, it was just too much going on... and if she did get pulled off after the comments she deserved it. It is not funny to call someone kids a mistake... not funny but very inappropriate.

I hope she was pulled off because of her tasteless comments! She is obviously MTV's worst mistake on host choices!

I hope she gets locked up and the key thrown away. Coming after Britney's dismal and painful performance that was totally crap.
