what would you do?

pull teeth, law suit, root canal? had braces for 2 years due to teeth angled inward towards toung cutting it. braces did not help like they said they would. still angled , but now where caps were placed teeth are very week and sensative. i was cleared by dentist for braces said no problems with my teeth far as cavites go. braces have been off for 2 years at last check up dentist said i need three root canals and possible one more costing over 1500.00 each. one of those teeth were is the agled one cutting my toung, and the others are were caps were placed. should i have them pulled and go with dentures or implants, should i try to sue them for malpractice, or continue doing waht they recomend?

I agree with the first post...Find a new dentist! Most dentist are honest, but there are always a few bad apples in the basket. Before you go further, try to get another opinion. I have the same situation you describe, except they kept me in braces for four years. I now have two bridges due to the damage incurred because of this. If you can afford implants, they are the way to go. You won't have to worry about those capped teeth being damaged and having to undergo further treatment and expense! Good Luck!

No one here can answer that question for you. The price you quoted for a root canal is a little high. You may want a second opinion in regard to what needs to be completed in order to maintain your natural teeth. The natural teeth are always preferred over any other replacement or appliance.
