Yeah I think it was. We should all remember what happened in 9/11 because it can happen again. We lost hundreds,of people in a senseless act of violence. A lot of people say it's getting old, but for me it never gets old. I lost my uncle on 9/11 and it really bothers me when people say we should just move on and let it go. I will never let it go, neither will other families that lost a loved one. No an entire show does not need to be dedicated to 9/11, but everyone should show some type of respect. I was watching TMZ and they were asking people what year 9/11 happened and only one person knew. Then they asked them to name Britney Spears ex husband or one of Brad and Angelina's kids and people knew it off the top of their heads. To me that's painful and it's sad. We shouldn't forget 9/11, nor should we forget Katrina, or any other tragedies this country has faced. People lost their lives and I feel they deserve at least a moment of silence.

Well the History channel dedicated almost 20 hours, as did some other channels. But I don't think any talk show hosts besides Oprah spent the day on 9/11, which is pretty sad.

i hope so.......how long are we going to have to watch/do these retrospective shows on 9/11? nobody is forgetting, I'd like to know for how many years after Kennedy was shot that a tv network showed a special, or how many radio stations still play john lennon continuously on december 8th, the day he was shot. yes you will have certin groups that remember 9/11, just like there are groups that still remember world war 2, the civil war, etc. but the general public has to move on and to remember it all the time, just not have specials up the rear-end on the anniversery.

No the morning information immediately become organic replays of pictures from 9/11. MSNBC confirmed all of it morning long and all of it started final nighttime on the tenth with a looong tale appropriate to the tale of the falling guy. (between the jumpers off the tower).

Oprah's was the only show I saw remembering 9/11
And yes we SHOULD remember , EVERY September 11th anniversary, to do otherwise would be disrespectful to those who lost their lives.
If it was you relative and people forget about them as if nothing had happened , how would YOU feel ?

yes, thats so sad. it has been 6 year. but it is a important part of history. and just out of the respect of those who have fallen.
