I say your best bet is doing research yourself. There is so much to essential oils, that it really cannot be put in one answer.

It takes hours to learn about the oils and their various uses.

Give yourself the time to do that, and you will have way more knowledge than a few sentences written here.

Aromatherapy uses some 40 highly concentrated aromatic oils designed to treat specific ailments. They are derived from the roots, flowers, leaves, bark, wood, and resin of plants, trees, and herbs, as well as the rinds of lemons and oranges. They are often combined with carrier oils like soy, almond, and evening primrose oils, or diluted in alcoholic solutions.

Most often the oils are inhaled, applied during a massage, or added to a bath. Inhaling a bowl of steaming water that contains a few drops of cinnamon and other oils may help clear up congested nasal passages. A combination of eucalyptus, thyme, pine, and lavender oils is said to ease sinusitis and bronchitis when inhaled several times a day.

When using essential oils in self-care, it is important NOT TO EXCEED the recommended amount. The oils are very potent - some may be up to 100 times more concentrated than dried versions of the same substances - and can be poisonous in anything above minuscule amounts. Some people take essential oils in capsules, in honey-flavored water, or in other forms, but this practice is not recommended due to questions of safety. Essential oils should be taken internally with caution and only as directed by a knowledgeable practitioner.

Niaouli Organic Essential Oi,l Tea Tree Essential Oil, Cajeput Essential Oil, Neem Oil Unrefined (Cold Pressed) Natural Shea butter. I've used all of these oils. My favorite is Tea Tree, Cajeput, and Neem. They cure Folliculitus, acne cysts, after shaving or waxing genitalia areas, clogged pores that contain blackheads/whiteheads. The above oils are dry like gasoline. They apply oily-like but dry on contact. If the oil is irritant, use less. Actually, less is more because these oils can be refined or not. Whatever the degree of your skin tolerance use less of these oils. They are very powerful when ordered as organic/refined/unrefined state. For the vaginal cysts, I mix with 100% shea butter. shea butter also have an acid that causes the skin to filter. So you may be able to use only shea butter. Last but least, use only a drop of these oils when applying to any cysts. If you are like me, when body waxing or shaving mix with shea butter to reduce inflammation. If oils are applied at night, make sure to wash them off in the morning, not doing so might cause skin irritation."

  • You will need to educate yourself on the uses and contraindications of each essential oil that you are interested in using.

There are shelfs of books written on the use of EO's. There is no way to briefly address them and their uses. They are many and varied, from past life retrieval to foot fungus.

If you are using them in a diffusor or in a 3-10% dilution topically you are safe with most. I would suggest getting familiar with a few user friendly oils. Consider something you would like to address and find and use an oil for that. Foot massage at the end of the day...an addition to a body oil for sun damage...an essential oil for treating acne skin....get familiar with a few basic ones and go from there.
