Do you think a lot of the answers could have just been solved using google?

95% of all fact-based questions can be solved with a google search (the other 5% will take a bit more time)

yes people are lazy..especially these !@%#$ kids asking homework questions..what happened to to doing things yourself?

but there are some people who ask legitimate questions that google and other search engines cant provide answers for..especially those where an opinion is required..search engines can get annoying when they keep bringing up the same stupid links or if they have a million results.Sometimes somebody already knows the best site to answer your specific question..it might not be at the beginning of the results page.The top result for a search in google is not necessarily the best one..

And yes people have gotten this lazy. All it takes is a few seconds and they could find the answer themselves. Heck, there's even a hmework web site.

I believe they simply have not been shown how to leverage the power of a search engine.
