how do u know ur memory is declining?

...as long as u remember that something sliped ur mind, your good =)

If, more than twice a week, you have to walk back into the previous room hoping you can recall what it was you initially went after, then your memory is declining.

What does that mean?

Update: Boy Im stupid, i though I was in computer internet and you were asking a question about computer memory... I have never heard of ram declining... sorry...

When you look all over the house for your keys and they are in your hand..

You start forgetting little things.. like where you just laid down the keys etc.. or walking into a room and completely forgetting what you went in there for..

This can be very frustrating.. but its not every day..

Its when you start forgetting information about yourself and those you love that you should become concerned about and seek help..

Somebody told me once that they constantly cannot remember where they put their keys....so they asked, "do you think that i am getting alztimers"? i responded that forgetting where your keys are just means that you have a lot of things on your mind. However, when you forget what a key actually does,,,then you have a reason to become concerned...
