I think if you want it there you should. About the pain, pain will be pain. A tattoo is a tattoo, it'll hurt no matter what.

I partially have to agree with everyone because I don't know if you plan on getting a job where tattoos are frowned upon.

A lot of people are getting tattoos now that aren't visible in the workplace, which is fine..

Now. You weren't asking if it was a good idea or not, you were asking how much it would hurt.

I've cut the web there with a knife [on accident!] and it was more of shock than pain. I'm sure the tattoo would be fine. It would hurt a little bit but not too bad. Just be sure to hold a tight fist with your other hand and grit your teeth, since its a small area, small tattoo, it won't take too long.

I agree, this is a bad place to put a tattoo, take it from a person who has 7. All of mine are hidden when i have to work. That would be very difficult tattoo to hide. cool idea, bad placement. How bout one star each on the shoulder blades.

It's not gonna hurt much, but you will need it touched up regularly because your hands shed a lot of skin naturally. Make sure the artist you use offers free touch-ups.

i've got 14, and would never in my life put one there. very bad idea. aside from the pain, u wash ur hands multiple times a day, at least i do, and it would fade the tattoo quicker than usual. think about ur wrist maybe or the inside of ur arm somewhere. also think about work. if u work in a type of environment where tattoos aren't as acceptable...

If you ever want to work a white collar job, I wouldn't get one there. Honestly.

i don't know how much it would hurt, but i would suggest not getting it on your hand because in the future you will have more trouble getting a job.

Don't do it. It will look like hell when you're in your 60's. Think of the future.
