What is it and how to get rid of it?
I'm a novice with computers. I currently use Yahoo as my main search engine. In an effort to make more room on my desktop, I need to know how to get rid of the "other" yahoo search bar in the upper right hand corner of my pages. This is redundant, and I want to get rid of it. I'm sure that there is some 'computerese, that I'm not familiar with. But I need to make more room. Please help?!

Go to start>settings>control panel >add remove programmes - look for yahoo search bar/tool bar and uninstall - I use yahoo - but when I install it I use the custom install and do not have the tool bar.
You could also click the arrow at the end of the Yahoo search box and change search defaults.
