There are 6 people I'd take one for.

There have been others, but I'm old now and they are gone.

Perhaps 3 would take one for me. High stress situations often create unexpected reactions.

I used to work with a guy that was really into being the macho tough guy etc., one day another fellow pulled a gun on us. Tough guy backed into the corner and left me with the gun in my face.

Luckily I knew how to respond and clapped my hand on the piece with the web of my thumb between the hammer and the pin. Broke two of the ash-whole's fingers when I took it away from him. I'd expected much better from the tough guy.

On another occasion, a different fellow, one I'd never thought much of, heard some noise and when we went to investigate found a guy trying to rape a teenage girl down in a big culvert. He had a gun (turned out to be a real looking BB gun, but we couldn't tell that), the fellow with me jumped right in and beat that creep to a pulp. That was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. When the cops asked what happened, I told them the rapist had come at my coworker with a gun yelling that he was going to kill him. Clearly self defense...

Just 5. The first is the beautiful lady sitting next to me, where she's been for forty five years. The next two are our son and daughter, and the last two are for the most gorgeous grandchildren ever to breathe air.

3----my son, my daughter and my father.....i know that last one is crazy but i love my dad almost more than anyone else....he was always there for me when i was growning up and yes my parents are still married. and i also am married.

lots it would take me way to long 2 count but most is just my family.
