Do guys really like women with a sense of humor?

A woman with a sense of humor is totally sexy. Now I say that assuming we are talking about a reasonable sense of humor and not "middleschool" funny. A woman that takes herself too seriously just isn't any fun. And woman who only laugh at a guys jokes just to seem agreeable are fake and eventually found out.

I love a women with a sense of humor. I like to laugh and joke around a lot so if I can make her laugh I am all the more happy. I guess I prefer both, I like making women laugh but I also like when a women can make me laugh.

If you tell a guy to imagine a situation where every woman in the world wants him, his first instinct is going to imagine a world full of hit women, right? He won't immediately think of a world filled with grandmas, women he isn't attracted to and a handful of real hotties. The sense of humor thing is much the same way. The women are assuming the guy is fairly attractive according to whatever their preferences are. Just like the scenario above, if you push and ask "What if a 400 pound, 50 year old guy with more nose hair than hair on his head made you laugh?" there is a good chance they will revise their opinion. In general, there is a baseline of physical attractiveness a guy needs to have a shot with a woman. I don't mean Brad Pitt, I think 99.9% of guys are some woman's type. "Being funny" is more about being fun to be around than actual stand up comic level material. Lots of guys think they are hysterical, but their jokes are nasty and off putting. They don't tend to be popular with the ladies.

I am a very big jokester i love to laugh and even better i love to make others laugh and I have no problem getting guys so i would say yes guy's love women with a sense of humor.

Depends. If they laugh at the girls jokes, it shows he has a sense of humor and maybe a compliment to say. If he just ignores it and asks one of his own, then it often shows he feels like he is never heard. Wow! I am a social Outcast and look at what advice I give!

I know for sure my husband was first attracted to me by my encyclopedic knowledge of Monty Python routines. And he stayed interested in large part because I make him laugh.

Then again, my grandmother had no sense of humor whatsoever, and she still spent about forty years married to a man who adored WC Fields and the Marx Brothers.

It depends on the man and the woman...but I think life is a lot more fun with a sense of humor than without.

I think they like them both ways but I think that women who make them laugh would be best.

Both! i cant stand it when girls are dry and just laugh at my jokes. Yes it makes me feel funny, but guys always want girls that they can interact with. if you can come back witha witty comment to something or another joke, it's a huge plus on the personality scale. (yes guys think it's important) any guy who doesn't like that is probalbly low on confidence.

I joke around a lot. Most girls will laugh, but very few of them will joke back. I would like it if they did, but I have no idea why they don't.

They LOVE it. It's a great stress breaker for anyone. Couples who laugh together seem to have their perspectives right on! But I wouldn't be dishonest about laughing at their jokes, or be fake in any way.
