how do you fix a movie tape?

i need info on how to repair a movie tape!

    If the content on the tape is important and not replaceable then i recommend having a professional repair the tape. Anything you try to do could make the problem worse and risk further damage to the tape and any machine you play it in. It typically cost about $25 to $30 dollars to get a tape repaired.

    The sites below are a sample of professional tape repair services. It might be a good idea to have the tape converted to DVD while you are having it repaired.
