What to eat in sahri during Ramadan?
Anyone got any ideas on what to eat during sahri. Today I ate poori with nihari but didn't eat that much. Anyone got ideas?

Protein is good. I didn't get up in time to eat this morning (and I am so paying for that right now...very hungry). But tomorrow, insh'allah I will have tea, toast, and poached eggs. Maybe some halal bacon, too, like turkey bacon. Normally I wouldn't eat this much, but you know, it's Ramadan. Your breakfast has to last all day, so whatever you eat, eat big!

I eat something different everyday. This morning I had roti and fried egg. It's a good idea to eat a banana or dates for sehri. Since they are high in sugar, it will give you better energy through out the day.
Good luck!

It is a good idea to eat bananas and / or dates.
You can eat whatever you like, but foods that keep you full for longer are better.

low glycemic foods like multigrain cereals, oatmeal, fruit, whole grain breads, they will release sugar gradually and give you energy throughout the day, get some protein too- dairy is good, eat fruit too
imo poori is too fattening and nihari is too spicy for breakfast, save it for iftar!
