Hi, recently my laptop screen has started to buzz/hiss and occasionaly flickers with the flickering getting worse the longer i leave the laptop screen on. The flickering starts to go down if i turn down the brightness of the laptop but the buzz remains. I read that this maybe caused by a dieing laptop screen inverter but I am not sure if this is the cause as I heard that it is due to the AC adapter power needing to be converted but with my laptop, if I unplug it from the AC adapter and run it with battery, the problem still persists. would anyone be able to help me identify what is wrong?

Why are some credit card companies not accepted everywhere. Discover is not accepted everywhere but Visa is, can someone explain this to me in some detail?

How does HP's three time return policy for exchanging laptops work? I know that after you send it in the fourth time, they let you pick a new laptop, but how does that picking work? Do they send you the same one or do they let you pick a new model that fits in a certain price range or something like that?

Every time I do push ups, my elbows make that popping sound? Why is this and how do I get it to go away. Am I doing them wrong? I'm pretty sure I'm doing them with the correct form. No, it doesn't hurt when it happens and I can easily keep doing them but I usually stop cause the sound is just wierd and starts annoying me.

Here's the deal, I work at Quizno's and we have a biweekly pay checks and before, when I used to get my checks, I would go to the bank that day and cash the checks perfectly fine but now on they tell me that I can't cash them and have to deposit it first and can withdraw it the following day. Why can't I cash my paychecks anymore? They aren't that big of checks, usually ranging from 100-150. Today when I went to try and cash, it was a 147 pay check and i already had 105 and the lady said i'd have to deposit it. is there a limit of some sort? am i missing something?

i was wondering how to use a shower scrub. do i just rub it on me after buying it from a drug store or am i supposed to dip it in something first and then rub that on me?

i keep getting these bug bites every night. i've washed my sheets once before and another time i completely changed them. we don't have any pets and my room doesn't have any insects that i notice. i keep it faily clean too. any ideas?

I'm only 17 years old and I've had this problem for a while now (probably a couple of years) but my heart hurts sometimes. I don't know how to describe except for that it just starts hurting and if i move my left arm the pain will somewhat spike or if i breath in.

well today at school i noticed something smelling funny. i realized it must've been my pants cause i hadn't worn them for a couple of months, like 4 or 5. I was wondering, do you think others around you can smell it?

Btw, i borrowed some of that spray axe type stuff from someone and just sprayed it over my pants to cover up the smell and it went away.

I have a toro 22" and am wondering how i would go about checking the carb on it. is it that little silver box that shoots out the smoke?

after i bought some oil (i made sure it's the right kind), i put it in my lawn mower. I started my mower and it started to shoot smoke out the side a little bit so i stopped and realized i put in too much oil. I then tipped my mower over and took out a large portion of the oil. I started it up again and it still smoked out the side but eventually it stopped after a couple of seconds(30ish). I then proceeded mowing and after a while it stopped so i checked the oil and there wasn't enough oil. I put in some more oil and then when i started it up again it started to shoot the smoke out the side again. What's goign on?

What's the general consensus on how long you should wear a pant before you change it. Am I allowed to wear the same pair for more than one day in a row to school or am I supposed to be changing it every day like shirts?

Sometimes after a nosebleed, I do some cleaning up. You know just making it clean and what not but sometimes this weird strand-like thing comes out. it's usually about an inch long and is really dark colored like blood is packed in there or something. It doesn't really break apart either, sort of stretchy. I've tried searching on the internet and can't find anything on it. Pulling it out doesn't make my nose to start bleeding again so I don't know if it's bad or not. Anyone got a clue as to what this is?
