hi there!! can any one tell me what pads foam or wool, are good to buff a car with swirl marks and oxedation paint/ sunfade? also need to know if i should i buff @ 2000 rpm or 3000 what is the best to buff @ and also what is a good product to remove swirls / paint oxedation and sunfade?.... how can i avoid liquid splatering all over me and the windsheild ect!! thanks!! thanks!!

well, now days most pros prefer foam over wool simply because it creates the least swirls,you dont want to go above 2000 rpm, between 1500 and 1800 is optimal.....to reduce splattering, first wet the pad and spread it over the whole surface before you turn on the buffer,,also use towels to cover your windshield,,,even mask it for the best results....cover anything you dont want to mess up.!!!good luck.
