Either my Roger Maris autographed ball or my Ted Williams autographed bat.

In response to chipmaker, Reggie Jackson signed on with the Yankees on November 29, 1976. I an a true & die hard Yankee fan, so I know alot about them.

A foulball that my dad caught during Game 3 of the 1985 World Series. My mom worked for Muriel Kauffman (the wife of the Royals owner at the time) and got the ball signed by the entire '85 World Championship team. Without question, my most prized possession.

I have a 1978 Yankee team ball signed by all of the players. I also have a Derek Jeter signed Photo collage and a signed Mickey Mantle Baseball that I'm keeping for someone I also have a Yogi signed photo with him and the Babe..

My all time fav item: A thong worn by and autographed by porn star Nina Hartley, great gal. Still has a killer body for a 40something.

My all time fav sport item: I have an old school 1966 velvet batting helmet Pittsburgh Pirate #21 my gramps past it down to me. Oh & if you don't know who #21 was in 1966 playing right field for Pittsburgh was, then do your homework.

For u contemporaries i also have a game used Jeter bat still sticky with pine tar and taped per Jeter. He handed it to my lady friend who was wearing a Jeter Jersey when the Yanks played the A's here in Oaktown. I use her for bait, hey what ever it takes right?

I have a 1914 Cracker Jack Honus Wagner baseball card. It's not the vaulted 1909 T206..but a very rare and valuable card none the less. I purchased it about 8 years ago, and got an amazing deal on it. The card is in "about good" condition with striking color.

I have a hockey stick that John Vanbiesbrouck gave me when I was about 16. He was my favorite New York Rangers player when I was a kid.

Also my mothers Mickey Mantle & Whitey Ford autographs that I have treasured since she passed away. She took great care of them & I plan on doing the same.

He did not have an at-home, walk-off HR against Boston in 1978, '79, '80, or '81. And then he left the Yankees.

Favorite thing? I dunno. I make use of lots of things but try not to get hung up on them. My favorite baseball-specific thing is the foul ball I caught in Kansas City in 1991, and later got the batter (Tim Naehring) to sign it. It's just a standard ball with then-AL prez Bobby Brown's sig on it. That and a custom-made card from SkyDome with the dear wife (then the dear girlfriend) on it, along with a Blue Jays fan with whom I'd struck up an on-line trading pipeline and friendship. She had to go to Toronto for some training, and I got him to squire her to a game, and they had a blast, and it was my delight to be able to arrange that for her.

My dad's memoriam card and flowers that were on his coffin. He passed away while I was on vacation in Florida. (from Mass). The Pats won their first Superbowl that year and I know he had something to do with that and getting me to New Orleans to see it!! :) Before the game they played his favorite song he used to sing around the house. Joy to the World (Jeremiah was a bullfrog was his favorite line). I almost died when it came on! At that point, I knew I was supposed to be at that game even though it cost SO much to do it! Thanks Dad! Love you and Miss you. Sorry sad posting guys. To make you feel better my second best is all my signed Adam Viniteiri pics of him kicking the snowball kick and superbowl winner in New Orleans and a Tom Brady signed football. :)

Mickey Mantle signing a ball for me at a home run hitting contest in 1977.....also a Joe Dimaggio and Mickey Mantle together signed by them!!....I watched him hit 8 out that day and still kick myself for not going out behind the left field and try to get one of those....but I had never seen him and I was 3rd in line....sat right in front of him as he signed autographs for "free" for almost 2 hours....I read that he demanded $1000 for appearences back then....would have paid it just to meet him!!........my boy's middle name is "Mantle"......I cried at his final news conference and cried the day he died.....the only time he said he cried was in 1960 when Maz hit the walk of home run in the 9th for the Pirates......I also cried that day and still crying about it!
