  • I am locked solid in a safety?

Due to the lay of the cue ball, I do not want to shoot the cue ball and disturb some locked balls....question, do I have to actually hit the cue ball....can I just pick it up and hand it to my opponent and give him ball in hand?

  • What do you think of my new rule suggestion?

Do you just not hate it when you are playing a match, it is "hill-to-hill" and your opponent snaps the nine ball or someone gets an early easy nine ball combination? I think the rule should be changed to "9 ball, last ball in" on a hill to hill game, what do you think?....if you snap it, spot it and get ball in hand. After the break if you "combo" the nine, you spot the nine and same shooter keeps shooting from where the balls finished.....just think, what if this was a big money game and that happened....Yes, I guess you could both have that agreement prior to starting the match, but I have NEVER seen anyone bring this up!

  • Ball contact with the cue stick, foul?

You are along the right side of the table, shooting the cue ball at the object ball on the left side of the table. In your follow thru, you contact with your stick another ball to the right of where the cue ball was, actually knocking it into a pocket...place it back? Or foul, ball in hand?...the ball contacted/potted was not in the line of the actual follow thru....the opponent, with his body english, waved the stick to the right after contacting the cue ball.

  • Safety question when you are tapping the object ball....?

asked this before, and got different answers. Object ball close to the rail, and I tap it, giving almost the identical shot back to my opponent. He in turn taps right back to me, and this continues....been told that a stalemate can be declared after several times of the same shot and same rail.....you can start the game over......seems to be that there is a rule that one of the balls has to hit another rail after the 3rd or on the 3rd shot...answer?

  • Straight shot up the rail shot... rattle it out a lot!?

Running a ball straight up the rail, and have to draw the cue ball back quite a bit, I seem to rattle it out most of the time. Am I just shooting to hard to over compensate for my "feel" of the speed I need to get back? Aiming wrong?...the object ball is not dead on the rail, just of a bit.

  • Without the ACA, what would it cost Ann Romney to get coverage?

Just saying, you assume that she is an average Joe(should that be Joline?), has 5 sons, and of course a hard working husband, maybe...maybe, making about 100K a year. She has to get insurance, she has of course cancer in her history, and multiple sclerosis in her history....assume that the rest of the boys and spouse are healthy......now assume that SOMEONE would even insure her, what do you think their premiums would be to cover the entire family?

  • Less then 24 hours in, they plotted against the President, with their "NO" policy.....?

15 conservatives, among them Cantor, Kyl, Ryan, Sessions, Coburn, Gingrich planned their "NO" attacks against the President (Obama and Michelle were dancing the night away in celebration).....no matter what damage it would do to the country!....My question to you is, what do you think they will plot when he wins again and now with 4 years under his belt?

  • Is Paul Ryan a Ayn Rand fan or not?

Or did the Catholics make a liar out of him? He is actually NOW claiming, that he never followed the teachings of an atheist!....."the smart one" of the Republican Party is totally denying this association or love of the Ayn Rand teachings/philosophy....he is "so smart" that he never thought anyone would find audio, stating the opposite.......does this cook his egg for VP?...(actually, the "Ryan Plan" cooked it already!)

  • Contratualions Mr President!?

According to a book that just came out, 15 conservatives (Ryan, Cantor, Gingrich, Ensin, Cobrun, Sessions, Kyl among them) met to plot the destruction of the President on the very day of his inaguration! It was agreed that they would do anything and everything to oppose any plans or campaigns that came out of his mouth!....regardless of what happened to this country!......My question is what did President Obama do in less then 24 hours to warrant this, and not only hurt him but the entire country at the same time?

  • Snooker and Pool or is it, Swimming Pool?

If there is a "WebMaster" to read this, please read and make a change to the category of "Snooker and Pool"......there are "thousands" of people that do not know the difference between "Snooker and Pool" and a swimming pool.......and thus all of the irritating questions about "pools"....like in swimming pools!!!.....Change it to "Billiards"...or anything else that will keep "Susie" or "Billy" from asking questions about "peeing" in the pool or "what to do in pool parties" ...or "what other questions that they may have......anything, to get them off this section.......PLEASE!!!!

  • Do any of you remember this, when it happened, what was the ruling?

Years back, there was a slow grounder rolling slow down the 3rd base line, when I think the 3rd baseman got down on the ground and blew at the ball as hard as he could to send it foul..anyone remember this? What was the ruling on the field? Can you do this?

  • Baseball rule: bases loaded, 3-2 count and 2 out...everyone is moving on the pitch...?

batter hits a line drive that hits the pitcher's rubber and then bounces almost straight back or across to the 'on deck" batter's box area ......2 runs score before the catcher can get the ball back to the pitcher covering home and tags out the 3rd runner trying to score.....what is the ruling? How many runs count?
