Why are femme lesbians attracted to butch lesbians?

they probably find that women, who dress and look like men and have a nice set of knockers are hotter than men without the knockers to tease them behind a dress shirt.basically, these femme lesbians want a woman who resembles a man because she is emotionally similar to her and can understand her, rather than a man who is attractive but an emotionally mute.so butch lesbians are a 2 for 1 deal.

my best friend is a lesbian. I think it's a typical steriotype that you have a butch and a femme. Sure there are those types of couples, but my friend is "femme" and so his her girlfriend. They are both very into makeup, clothes, hair... their relationship works because they've come to a happy medium, you don't "need" a masculine and a feminine... it's all steriotype. Some women are attracted to the butch women others aren't... just like in a typical relationship... sometimes you have a dominating, amazon woman and a meeker, quiet man... and vise versa...

I don't think that anyone has control over who they are attracted to. My partner is a femme and before me she was only with men and I guess if you had to put me in a category I would be a butch, but I think that some people are just attracted to the person and they don't worry if your the right gender or not.

Question for you.. as a straight woman who is attracted to the male of the species.. would you want your mate to be VERY FEMININE?? No? Why not? Why wouldnt a feminine woman want her man to be feminine too? And with that same logic, a less feminine woman.. you know the kind.. they're out there... the jeans and T-shirt kind.. drink beer from the bottle, fish, wipe worm guts on the pants leg kinda girl... would she want a Larry the Cable Guy kinda mate? You know, that obnoxious man thats part Archie Bunker and part big yellow dog that drinks outta the toilet....

You see my logic, Im sure.. while there are many femme lesbians who prefer other femmes and butch women who prefer a butch mate, for the most part, its butch-femme.. ... the opposite ENERGY instead of opposite gender.

Lesbians don't like penises. Masculinity and Femininity can/do exist independent of the plumbing.

As to what a person finds attractive...that is an individual thing. Femme or butch or andro....the common denominator is that they don't have a penis!

You want a serious answer? I think lesbians are kind of "cheating the system." A lesbian will like a woman over a man for whatever reason she has, but when it comes down to it.. Opposites attract. I think, perhaps, that lesbians like to be with other women who are either less or more femme/"butch" then they are because it creates a balance. The "butch" aspect is appealing because they can look and act a little differently which recognizes that theory of opposites attracting. I'm not a lesbian and therefore I am NO expert, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Not all of them are. I am femme and I love other femmes. Everyone has their own preference.

For those femmes attracted to butch... it's not so much the physical as it is the emotional/mental feeling of the person they have.

not all femmes like butch girls. im a femme and im attracted to girls who actually look like girls, not butch or dyke girls. i understand you weren't trying to attack the lesbian community, but it will offend some of us. some femmes date all types of lesbians. I think the ones who date butch girls or dykes just feel more comfortable or maybe even safer with them, it can almost be a sense of feeling protected by them. im sure if you're a straight female and you have a boyfriend, he probably makes you feel safe and his masculine qualities could be a contribution to that. but for some of us, it's really just preference.

my girlfriend is a stem which means that she still looks like a girl but she wears men's clothing. she still has feminine traits, of course. (like her long blonde hair) and I feel safe with her. but she's also more of my type. it all depends on which type of lesbian you talk to, I guess

I think you arent able to notice the two femmes together, your just not seeing it.
