whats worse?

televised evangelical services or cigarette commercials?

i would rather spend an hour of my sunday morning with the marlboro man!

Update:

bat girl, you never cease to amaze me with your stupidity.... yes i'm well aware cig commercials were removed...that is part of my point!

Update 2:

and im pretty sure you dont get lung cancer from watching tv...brain cancer mabe....but i think that would come from religious tv rather than the cig commercial...

Update 3:

ok, moonrose: little factoid for ya: where i live sun. mornings on tv is nothing but televang. unless you have cable, which i do not because i do not watch tv much. just simply posing a question.

I'd rather spend an extra hour in bed. But pushed to make a choice it's the malboro man for me too. Except in my country we don't have cigarette commercials, only evangelical services. That's why I sleep in.

You live in a free country and your freedom in incased in that finger on the TV controller. Why in the world would someone like you spend even 10 seconds watching somthing you hate? There are many people in the world with many different ideas about what makes them happy. You are happy with the Marlboro man and I'm happy with Jesus Christ. Sadly for you, the Marlboro man is dead and Jesus is alive. Why should you be upset that there are programs of interest to me. I certainly have no problem with what you want to watch. I don't even care if what you want to watch is porn as long as children aren't involved. You go for it. Try to keep an open mind as far as our freedom goes, ok? And try not to be so uptight. It's not good for your health. Good Luck and God Bless

I guess I have a sick sense of humor.I like to put on Jimmy Swaggart on Sunday morning. It gives me a laugh how he can look directly into the camera and tell you "You absolutely, positively,CANNOT get an understanding of the bible without my "Expositors Study Guide"Now,only 1,000 dollars!"He then goes on to say,"I know some of you out there can afford to buy 100 of them"He cracks me up.Gotta hand it to him though,he goes big

I am a Buddhist and I have been known to watch a certain $$$$'s fellow with admiration.

I take out what I disagree with and cheer the reasonableness of the intent....

You want to get lung cancer? Wow!

    Never heard of that before....

I choose neither of the above...

BTW, in case you haven't been around for the last decades, cigarette commercials are a thing of the past...the long ago past.

Neither one is a big deal.

I can turn off the television and read a book.

Well think about it. One is glorifying a habit that kills 80% of its uers. The other is opening the door to understanding a little more about your spiritual future.

Not a follower and can't smoke as my asthma would mean i have an attack, so both of them are equally bad.

    services - not my faith

    smoke - aganist my health

whatever option it would be killing my spiritual / physical being

Both are worse. Evangelicals smoke too much.
