Doctor Who fans Have you seen the DVD "The Invasion" with Patrick Troughton? If so what did you think?

People need to remember that Doctor Who started out as a children's show. It was aimed toward youngsters, not adults. The adults became fans along the way. They were half-hour episodes, with a story played out over a varying number of segments. Also, there always were budget limitations, quite severe at times.

I think it's extraordinary series, one that has survived longer than any other series. After a 15-year lapse, it's up and running again!

I definitely want The Invasion DVD, especially since it's a reconstruction. Sight unseen, I would buy it without hesitation. I'm a Patrick Troughton fan and was so lucky to get to meet him. What a sweet, intelligent man he was! A month later, he died at another convention.

i'm a very big fan of doctor who. but only to new series. so, i already watched the stories, and my comment would be like any other oldies that i've watched, boring.
