Beny worked nicely. But in the morning, I had to wake up early, and I was groggy as the grandaddy upstairs at the bar.

When I was still driving trucks cross country, I had to sleep on some of the roughest roads in the country. I would take 35Mgs of benedryl when it was my turn to sleep and wake up rested and without a hangover. Melatonin has made me groggy a time or two so I quit taking it.

I've used Benadryl over the years and I think its good. I used to also give it to my daughter when she was teething to help her sleep at night. It dosent make you feel run down and has less side effects.

My brother and my son both do quite a lot of travelling abroad, and they use Melatonin regularly to help them re-adjust their sleep pattern and recover from jet lag. They tell me it's brilliant!
