Can you save Nintendo GameCube games on the Wii?

I just bought a Wii, and we have some GameCube games that we play on it. Is there anyway to save game progress of the Gamecube games on the Wii?

    yea, u can save gamecube games, but u need a gamecube memory card...u put it in the tiop side of the wii , u just have to lift that one little thing up

    you can't save it on the wii itself, but you can insert your gamecube memory card, and then it is on.
