Are USC fans hypocritical?
They signed an agreement to recognize the BCS champion as the National Champs - LSU then declared themselves Champs. USC certainly should have been LSU's opponent, but how is that LSU's fault? Then when they do win a BCS Championship (2) they claim that # 1 is #1 until beaten. So using their own logic shouldn't Florida be #1 til they get beaten?

Yeah they are. Anyone who doesn't believe it look at vae4usc answer above. USC doesn't care about the 2003 national championship. Anyone who has spent any times listening to all the Condom fans defend it in these same YAHOO answers knows better than that.

Your question isnt that clear but I will take a shot at it anyways. If you are talking about the year of the split title, nobody here in SoCal cares. Everytime its brought up is from an lsu fan or someone else in the SEC. It very simple, the BCS system has flaws, we all know that. We can't control it. So to give you team the best chance, WIN. Nothing in the past is going to help this season. If that was the case Notre Dame would have an offensive touchdown by now.

It's really all part of the entertainment of this whole BCS (Boy Computers Suck) thing. I for one enjoy the discussions on the controversies that entail the on going saga of "this", "that", and "the other things" that come up because of it all.
I am a USC guy - and USC isn't making the rules on the rankings and/or ratings. AP and Coaches Polls are doing all that, causing all of that. Week 3 is down - save this question for the first week following the BCS rankings (near week #11) - bring it back and lets revisit this exact wording.

Kind of like when Florida got a rematch against FSU to win their first national championship then whinned like babys that rematches weren't fair? All fans are complete hypocrites. I remember one year ND beat FSU heads up and still lost a national championship because everyone said that FSU deserves the championship because they lost later in the year, even though a few years before that the same scenario played out with ND losing early, and still didn't get the championship. Yet if you ask everyone in the south, they get hosed over the midwest and west coast when it comes to voting. All fans in every region were rose colored glasses.

And what, Ohio State should be 2? Listen, LSU will get their shot at Florida. And if they can run the table and USC can beat Cal, then it will be played out in New Orleans. Sorry Oklahoma.!! Hey didn't we have these same teams......ohh forget it!!!
