How do you throw a good party?

Well I'm throwing my first party in about two months but I have nooooo idea where to start! I have the location set and we're getting two kegs so far but what else is good to have? I've been to plenty of parties but it's a different story when you're attempting to throw one.

    Invite good people. The party usually throws itself when you have good people around.

    Get everyone to chip in about £3, get a whole heap of pizza and booze..

    Get a karaoke machine and keep the music up-to-date!! put the Grease Megamix away !!!!

    Just remember good parties you've been to, and do what they did.
